Serving Farmington Hills, MI

The Audi SUV lineup grows more impressive in the 2022 model year by introducing the all-electric Q4 family. Specifically, the Q4 e-tron is a tech-centric crossover that balances the luxury and stellar engineering that you expect from an Audi. The Q4 Sportback e-tron is also introduced in the 2022 model year as a standalone model. While it shares many traits with the Q4 e-tron, there are notable differences between the two options that could be deciding factors as you make your next auto selection.

Performance

The 2022 Audi Q4 e-tron is offered with two powertrain setups. The base option combines a rear-mounted electric motor with a floor-based battery pack to produce 201 horsepower. You can upgrade to the all-wheel drive Q4 e-tron that has both front and rear motors for more power. This combination gives you 295 horsepower. Notably, the 2022 Q4 Sportback e-tron has the same equipment options and performance capabilities.

Appearance

The most stunning differences between the Q4 e-tron and the Q4 Sportback e-tron are found throughout the exterior. The 2022 Q4 e-tron has a prominent stature with a tall yet curving roofline. This is paired with sculpted fenders and a well-defined lower-body accent. The nose has a deep, chrome-accented grille with geometric LED headlights. At the rear, a single bar of segmented light connects the taillights. This linear design is mimicked throughout the thin bumper and the rear skid plate. The 2022 Q4 Sportback e-tron, on the other hand, has a steeply raked roofline that creates a hatchback-like liftgate at the rear. This liftgate is accented with a prominent spoiler. The sides and grille are comparable to those on the Q4 e-tron, but the LED headlights have a staggered, angled design for differentiation.

Features

The safety features, infotainment technologies, finishes, and other features are almost identical between the two models. Their features include the latest MMI infotainment system, a 10.1-inch touch display screen, a second 10.25-inch driver’s instrumentation screen, a high-level sound system, heated seats, a split-folding rear seat design, assistive safety technologies, smart device integration, an auto climate management system and more.
