Performance

The Audi Q3 is offered in two trim levels for 2022, and they both have the same engine. This is a 228-horsepower, 2.0-liter turbo, four-cylinder engine. For both trim levels, all-wheel drive and eight-speed auto transmission are standard. The 2022 Audi Q5, on the other hand, has three trim levels with two powertrains. The entry-level engine is a 2.0-liter turbo, four-cylinder engine that generates 261 horsepower. It is tied to all-wheel drive and a seven-speed dual-clutch auto transmission. The other Q5 powertrain available is a plug-in hybrid version of this same engine. It produces 362 net horsepower.

Appearance

The Q3 and Q5 for 2022 share similar design language, but the Q5 is a larger vehicle with broader dimensions. Both vehicles have a chrome-on-black grille with vertical bars and a crisp personality line through the sides. They also both have an almost smooth hood with a long, flowing roof. The Q3 has an arrow-like element in its headlights, and its rear fenders are defined. The Q5, on the other hand, has almost rectangular LED headlights that are mounted at an angle.

Features

The Q3 has a robust list of standard features. These include a panoramic sunroof, an 8.8-inch touch display screen, leather upholstery, a tri-zone auto climate control system, front collision mitigation, a power liftgate, heated front seats, auto high beams, and more. The Q5’s standard features are comparable, with a few exceptions. This model adds Apple CarPlay, a 10.1-inch touch display screen, roof rails, reclining rear seats, and remote monitoring via an app.
