2019 Audi Q7 vs 2018 Audi Q7

Serving Farmington Hills, MI

In 2016, the second generation of the popular Audi Q7 was released. With this generational update, the Q7 benefited from a significant overhaul with improved aesthetics, features, and performance capabilities. The 2018 and 2019 model years are included in this generation and offer an exceptional ride for drivers and passengers to appreciate across every mile. Both of these midsize luxury SUVs are excellent options that will undoubtedly delight you, but the 2019 Audi Q7 has a few updates that you should be aware of before finalizing SUV purchase plans.

The Q7 provides a responsive, smooth ride thanks to a well-designed powertrain and exceptional mechanical features. The 2018 Audi Q7 and the 2019 model have the same V6, 3.0-liter turbo engine that delivers 329 horsepower. It is mated to a Tiptronic 8-speed auto transmission, and it also comes with power steering, Quattro all-wheel drive, rear axle active torque distribution, multiple driving modes controlled through a touch-screen display in the cabin, a 5-link suspension system, adaptive air suspension damping and numerous other technologies that come together to deliver an amazing ride.

The exterior design of the Audi Q7 is unchanged for the 2019 model year. Regardless of the Q7 that you select from our inventory today, you can expect it to have horizontal flare across the regal front end, thanks to the design of the grille and the lower air intake feature. This flow is enhanced by lovely LED headlights that carry the eye around to the front fenders. Horizontal character lines begin at the front fender and move across the doors to the rear bumper. An additional personality line adds a definition to the lower side panels. The tapered hood also has a subtle definition. At the rear, the LED taillights, elongated chrome exhaust tips, and horizontal definition finalize the exceptional exterior design for the 2018 and 2019 Q7 model years.

Significant updates are found inside the Q7. In 2019, all trims come with an integrated navigation system as a standard feature. If you take home the Premium Plus trim for 2019; your vehicle will come with additional standard features like LED headlights, a wireless charging station, and the Audi Virtual Cockpit technologies. If you add the Convenience Package to your 2019 Audi Q7, you will now benefit from a rear cross-traffic alert and a blind-spot monitor. For both model years, some of the optional or standard features that you can appreciate on the road are an MMI touchpad, USB ports, a heads-up display, smartphone integration, a Bang & Olufsen audio system, leather seating, remote entry, mounted steering wheel controls, assistive safety technologies and many other items.
