 What's New for the 2019 Audi Q7?

In 2019, the Q7 gets a variety of appealing additions and notable changes. One change for this year is an upgrade to a 12.3-inch infotainment display that puts a wealth of information at your fingertips. Equipped with Google Earth, it also gives you spot-on navigation and geographic location. A virtual cockpit in the Q7 makes it feel like you're in control of a race car or plane. With real-time data available about your vehicle, the virtual cockpit keeps you informed of your car's health by the minute. On the outside, trapezoidal exhaust vents, available full LED lights, and a signature grille give the Q7 its distinguished and rugged appearance.

In 2019, the Q7 is offered in three trim levels. The base model is called the Premium. With the Premium, you'll get the power of a 2.0L turbocharged engine. The panoramic sunroof has a tilt-sliding feature, and its panoramic design lets in all the sunlight (or starlight) that you could want. The infotainment system has a user-friendly touchscreen and standard navigation. Moving up the line, the Premium Plus has a standard virtual cockpit and a more sophisticated Bose sound system. Side parking assist, rear cross-traffic alert, and rear parking sensors make this Audi easy to navigate and park in tight spaces. Also included in this trim level are a phone charging station with a signal booster and a roof-mounted panoramic camera. The top-level trim is the Prestige. While the first two trim levels are powered by the same base engine, the Prestige is powered by a larger and more powerful 3.0L engine. Other standard amenities include 20-inch wheels, interior LED lighting, and a head-up infotainment display. This trim level comes standard with several packages, including a warm weather package with four-zone climate control and a driver assistance package with a number of driver's safety aids.

In addition to its amenities and head-turning good looks, the 2019 Q7 will get you to your destination with plenty of power and speed. This year, the highest trim level of the Q7 comes standard with a 3.0L turbocharged engine. This engine can crank out up to 329 HP at 5,500 – 6,500 RPM. This engine also generates up to 325 LB-FT of torque between 2,900 – 5,300 RPM. From a standstill, you can reach 60 MPH in a little less than six seconds. The engine is matched with an eight-speed automatic transmission and an intuitive all-wheel drive drivetrain that provides the Q7 with better steering and handling, even in adverse conditions.

Safety comes in both passive and active forms in the 2019 Q7. Standard safety features include an advanced airbag system with front, side, and curtain airbags to shield occupants as much as possible from the impact of a collision. The Q7 also has a variety of driver-assist amenities, including rear cross-traffic alert and vehicle exit assist. In 2019, rear cross-traffic alert and blind-spot monitoring are available through a safety package.
